Happy Friday! It was a very busy week here! Nonadays, I am happy to bring you the next installement of my Inspired Friday Series.

The inspiration image this week is this wonderful image with the Groth Chart, available at the Make History Shop.

and here is the page I scrapped inspired by it:

Top Model Party

It is a very simple page, as the image is. I used that rule paper from Crate Paper that I’ve been saving forever and kept all other embellishments neutral as well. The only pop of color comes from my photos. I could not scrap them other way, they are just to colorful LOL.

Wood veneer alpha is from the Studio Calico Planetarium Kit, Camera die cut is from Amy Tangerine.

Love that this project stretches my creativity and help me to use my stash :)

As always, an inspired Friday post would never be complete without a side by side image:

I am keeping strong with my new year resolution to put my Studio Calico kits and to scrap a layout with each sketch in 2015 :) Today I have two pages to share.

The first page, Sardegna, was inspired by the Sunday sketch from January 11th.

Sardegna

Tecnically, this is not a “kit” page but the script paper is Studio Calico and that Journaling card is from the Walden Project Life kit. So, I calling it good ;)

The second layout is called “Read” and is about the day I said to my kids that they should help me to load the bookcase (after renovating and painting the room). They did not help, only read.

The start point for this layout was the January 18th sketch.

Got to open my Sandlot Scrapbook Kit. I am not sure about this kit (if I like it or not) but I like how this page turned out.

And I love that alpha.

Love the color combination! I just had to scrap a page and try to create this look!

Lots of journaling in a tag, I really love the Notes & Things Journaling Cards from Crate Paper. So many great cards and tags in this pack!

Schmusi

As always, the inpiration piece and the layout for comparison:

It has been a while since I blogged a Project Life spread just because I do not find PL to be “beautiful” LOL I love this kind of documentation but it is for sure not the kind of project that I click in the galleries or save to my pinterest inspiration boards.

Anyway, I am still over the fence about doing or not doing PL in 2015 but decided to finish all the albums I have started. So, today I am showing you the first weeks of 2011.

Yes, 2011. You really read it right LOL

Ja , 2011. Ihr habt es richtig gelesen LOL

Project Life

I am able to play catch up with this album because I kept a journal that year. So I only need to bring the words from the journal with the photos together.

It is actually lot of fun to do these spreads. The kids were so small, I love going through these memories.

And the work is pretty easy to do with the kit from Dani Peuss.de.

So you see I was not kidding when I said 2011 ;)

Week 2: Vacation time!

I am keeping with a one week per page as I did in 2014. This is just the perfect format for me. And the best to catch up as well ;)

Eine Einzelseite per Woche ist, meine Meinung nach, das Beste wenn man Lücken in Project Life Alben aufschließen will.
