so yesterday I showed you the first 4 layouts I scrapped with the Sandlot kit last weekend.
I had those 4 pages scrapped and was pretty proud of myself before I realized that my kit was still looking like new. If I was really willing to kill that kit I had to stop using little bits of paper (my usual way of scrapping) and take action. Make something radical like scrapping some layouts with patterned paper as background. Yes, I was really up to use the entire kit LOL
And that’s what I did:
I printed a black and white photo because I think they look great paired with a patterned paper background. Layout is a lift from Thumbs up by Stephanie Bryan.
You are here badge available on my Etsy and Dawanda stores.
The next layout, featuring a birthday photo, is all about color. I mixed the Sandlot kit and the Crate Paper Maggie Holmes Confetti Collection.

And them I had a lightbulb moment. Truth is, that I had no idea abour what to do with that pencils paper but them the school photos came to my mind and that was. I finally got them scrapped and in the album and the paper found its destiny. And we lived happily ever after.
Sorry for all the blurred faces, I swear the kids all have eyes and noses and mounths but they are not kids of mine so I prefer to not show them here.
The paper with pencils was gone but I still had some of this with the numbers. It does also fits perfectly to my subject.
But that was not the end, no, I still had papers and photos to scrap LOL
For the paper below I just did what everyone would do. And it looks cool, I could stamp some cardstock and do it again. I really like it.
This place is so beautiful and just half an hour from here. It is the World heritage Castle Brühl. This was the first time we visited it but for sure not the last one. I plan to take everyone who visits us there in the future. A picture perfect castle.
And that was, folks. The end of Sandlot. I scrapped 11 layouts with it before I called it gone and put the rest letters and embellishments together with my non-kit supplies.
Next victim is the July kit by Dani Peuss that arrived on my doorsteps yesterday. It is fun and colorful and just the way I like. I see lots of pages with it
Thanks for stopping by today!
