hello and welcome back to an inspired Friday. Today it is all about chairs. No, not really. But this is my inspiration piece:

I am just in love with the pastel colors and that pop of yellow and green. So cool and clever. And here is how I translated it into paper:

I had the perfect photos to recreate that green chair…

My daughter Anna is already planning her birthday Party (in August!) with the new “A frozen celebration” party printables that I added to the store last week:

A Frozen Celebration Birthday Printables

I had the best time creating the hair and the dresses from these two little princess and I think they would match nicely to the animators dolls. Anna got an Anna for her last birthday and wants Elsa from Santa, so I guess I have the perfect centerpieces for the decoration ;)

For the invitation I decided to make twelve (!) options with different background papers, with both Anna and Elsa or just with one of them. As always, you may switch the texxt to your needs.

I found some very cute ideas for the party, including the balloons with snowflakes (love that!), the beautiful snowflakes cupcake (and it is chocolate!) and two crafts that could be great for doing with the guests during the party: glittered snowflakes from clothespins (so clever!) and a sock Olaf.

With the winter approaching and my growing desire to just stay at home and do nothing but scrapbooking, I found it is time to get back to my inspired Friday project, but this time, with a new twist.

It is all about using my stash of scraps and images from my ever growing pinterest boards.

First I have to confess that this was my initial idea when I started the inpired Fridays one year ago,  Unfortunately the initial idea got lost because I was doing it so complicated… I started trying to create a moodboard that would inspire a layout and got lost at Pinterest with all that owerhelming amount of inspiration. What was I doing here? Oh, searching images for a moodboard… there was no way it would work like that. I got to work with sketches.

Now I am bringing you this new series with a down to earth approach to be inspired by one image. A single image that calls my name. That’s it.

Today my inspiration piece is this sweet kids room from Chic Decó:

I love everything in this image: the colors, the patterns, the striped t-shirt with the number 1. So I started gattering my supplies to recreate this look and feel on a page.

It is all about color and patterns here.

Them I got them together, It looked like this:

Some glue and of stitching later I got this:

My inspiration piece in form of a background. I love it!

Life Kit – Add-on erstellt habe. Dieses Kit enthält Tags und Journaling Karten aus den Crate Paper Open Book Collection, und ist einfach genial.

Und wie der Titel diesen Blog-Beitrag schon erwähnt: Projekt Life Karten sind nicht nur für Projekt Life Alben. Die eignen sich auch hervorragend für Layouts. Glaubt Ihr mir nicht? Dann bitte schön :)

Millenium

Yesterday I mentioned that I just have finished a new party package, here it is! Let me introduce you: Baby Lion

Baby Lion Birthday and Baby Shower Printables

I so want to add more baby shower and first birthday party packages to my Etsy store. I only had one set until baby lion made its appearance!

This party package is very special because it can be used for boys, girls and twins boy and girl. All of the pieces in the package have a baby lion girl and a baby lion boy version. You can choice which printables you want to print. For twins just print them all!

There are both baby shower and birthday versions. The baby shower package includes three banners as you can see below:

The birthday package can also be used for boys, girls and boy-girl twins parties :)

There are twelve options of backgrounds, colors and gender for the matching invitations. As always, you can change the wording to suit your needs.
