I really love the Travelers Notebook System and since I got one I can’t stop using it to document, plan and make art. I’ve already sew a dozen of inserts in a very easy way: a couple sheets of paper, a patterned paper from the cover, fold together and sew in the middle. And I’ve already sew 4 fabric doris – one for me and one for each of my kids.
On our recent trip to Berlin during the Easter break, I made four new inserts (for me and the kids) and we took our fabric doris with us. The little girl used her insert to paint. The boy did not touch his TN. And the big girl made a great collection of memorabilia + few words.
And I used it to write a bit about our day and glue memorabilia down every night.
I just finished adding the final touches to my TN and so it si how it looks like:
I’ll sure be approaching travel documentation this way again in the future. Love to have an entire insert about a trip!
Thanks for stopping by today!
We always go somewhere during the Fall break. We always choice a place in the south, to get a bit of sunshine before the winter arrives.
This year we went to north Italy and it was wonderful. We lived in this house and I can’t recommend it enough. It was perfect for the six of us (my mother joined us this year).
The dogs from the house owners were adorable. My kids are usually afraid of dogs, but this time they just wanted to go out and play with them. It was lovely.
There was a perfect sunny day in Padova…
…and a perfect cloudy day in Montagnana. I’ve been in several medieval cities with a wall, I even lived for two years in such a city, but I’ve never seem something so impressive as Montagnana. It was perfect and so very beautiful.
This is Montagnana from above, simply picture perfect.
Beautiful streets and wonderful colors everywhere.
There was lot of Auto-Scooter for us and the kids. So fun!
And there was Venezia in a perfect sunny day. We walked the entire day.
Next time we want to stay there and explore everything. We loved, love Venezia.
There were also two rainy days, ok two pretty stormy days. So we went shopping, lovely eating and read a lot. It was not what we planed (we wanted to see Verona) but we can live with it.
Next week I’ll get back to the business of scrapbooking 🙂
Have a beautiful weekend!
