travel journal

I was already feelind overhelmed with the perspective of being 3 weeks in holidays in September, taking lots of pictures and without scrapping. Thinking about the amount of stories I have to tell and the pictures that are waiting to be scrapped in my HD and all of the new stories/pictures to come. And yesterday I came across this Tuesday tutorial at Ali Edwards blog, and the very simple idea of doing a travel journal to take with and yah, that’s it.

I could not wait to get started.

I got my paper stash and choice the life’s journey papers from K&Company and printed lots of goodies from the Impressions of Travel by the Studio Girls. I think the colors work so good together. I also got some cardboard from my kitchen staff and letter covers to hold memorabilia.

And of course, I made few embellishments with cardboard and foam pads, my favorite scrap materials after patterned paper. BTW the butterflies were punched out patterned paper LOL

I also created a very cute travel records page and printed one for each day of holidays. I am really excited about getting some minutes every day to hold the holiday memories and about not having the pictures to scrap when I am back. Only print a selection of pictures and put them down in the album. And of course scrapping a layout for each kids albums, but this perspective is just nice.

I feel happy with my little book, I’ll show it here when it is assembled.
