It is time to share all my Project Life pages for January. I can’t believe we are already half way into February. It makes my wish of documenting the life of my family even stronger. The days are flying by so let’s celebrate our everyday lives scrapbooking it!
New year means new Project Life Album. After 6 years of using my trusted American Crafts Cloth Album with the Chestnut design, I had to change to this Amy Tangerine Album with Hearts pattern, because the Chestnut is not available anymore.
I have two of these albums, so you know which album I’ll be using in 2018 LOL
But now let’s give a look in the January 2017 pages:
This is the first page of the album, with the (for me) traditional New Years Eve report + photos.
Here you have a view from week 1 + 2. I am keeping with one page per week again this year like I am doing since 2015. I’ll also be using my printable Journaling Cards Weekly, which are available in my Etsy Shop. This set includes 4x 52 journal cards, sizes 4×3″, 3×4″, 4×6″ and 6×4″, saved as individual JPG files and 2 ready to print PDF files with the small cards, so there is always a card that fit to the weekly spread 🙂
Week 1: Second week of winter break. We came home on January 1st from our small vacation in the Black Forest and started renovating the kitchen straight away! We also visited the big girl’s Godfather and his family during the week.
Week 2: Kids went back to school on Monday. The snow arrived on Friday and it was so beautiful and fun!
Week 3: Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow. We spent the week for our own, without Dad who was working in Abu Dhabi. The boy and the little girl left for a short trip with their Church Group on Friday.
Week 4: A sad week for the little girl as her teacher is now retired. We organized a surprise party for her and it was so sad to say goodbye.
That was January here, simple scrapped with cards from my stash and the “Weekly” Cards.
Thanks for stopping by today!
