You probably know this story as good as I know: there is a new amazing collection in your favorite scrapbook store and you have to have it all. You can’t wait to start using it and you sure do but them, the next collection comes, you get it too, and the “old” papers stacked away, with your stash, which keep growing and growing and never get used.
And oh, the paper scraps. All those lovely stripes of paper that we scrapbookers can not throw away. That box full of treasures that never get used because we keep buying all the new stuff and want to use it first. A never ending story.
I am in a process of downsizing my scrapbook space. I now have an entire room for my own. I work for home and my office double as my craft room, and so I have more than enough place to keep all the things. But as I am going back to work outside home next year and my girls want to have each one a room for their own, I will give up the office. So, I am in the process of downsizing, finishing projects, and selling out my Dawanda and Etsy shops (lots of lovely things on sale there!).
In the spirit of using my stash I created a kit with my supplies and will be using it along with my scraps to create a ton of pages and get some serious scrap done.
Here are the first two layouts from hopefully, lots:
That lovely Jenni Bowling journaling card has been part of my stash for 6 or 7 years already. I love it so much and feel so happy to have it on a page now.
With pages like this I’ll never make a dent on my paper stash LOL, but at least I used that mountain card I got last month. One can not be perfect 😉
Thanks for stopping by today!
